Overview
Important information about your Jet Phone
-
The Jet Phone can only be used with your Login and Password as issued by Jet Interactive or your administrator. Please keep these details safe, and save them in the device options.
-
You will continue to receive calls even if you close or force quit the app. To stop receiving calls, please use the Settings → Account feature to Enable/Disable your login.
-
The Jet Phone runs over your internet connection.
-
Please ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi or Mobile Data connection. The most common issue experienced with call quality is due to poor internet connection or auto-changing of your data carrier as you move around.
-
If your internet connection changes then calls may drop. Please endeavour to remain on a single data connection for the duration of your call.
-
VoIP calls (Voice over IP) will use your internet data, but this is typically at very low levels. Most VoIP calls will only use between 0.5 megabytes (MB) and 1.3 MB/minute per minute of call. (eg: a YouTube video at the lowest watch quality will use roughly 15MB per minute)
-
If there is no Wi-Fi network available, you will need to let the Jet Phone use your mobile data connection to make or receive calls. Go to your phone Settings, and turn on Use When Available and Allow VoIP calls.
-
-
Jet Interactive is unable to access any of your personal data from other apps operating on your phone. Any data that you load into your Jet Phone (eg: contacts) can only be viewed or accessed through the device this was installed or uploaded on.
-
Calls and messages that pass through this phone may be monitored by your company at their discretion. Please speak to your supervisor for more information regarding this.
