This article will show you how to enable your Google Ads integration. In order for this integration to work you will require Jet's session tracking with dynamic numbers & a Google Ads Integration on your account. If you are unsure about either of these please submit a ticket and we can assist.
1. Activate the integration
In your Jet portal, head to Dynamic Numbers > Integration Management > Google Ads and click edit integration
2. Add Configuration
In the top right of your screen, click on the add configuration button. You should see a blue 1 on this button. If this button is greyed out, it means that you need to purchase the Google Ads integration, Please submit a ticket for this to be added.
3. Configure the integration
- Select Tracking Site Code* from the dropdown list. (this will be. (Only applicable if the account has multiple tracking site codes, if your site only has the one tracking site code, this will automatically be selected for you)
- Enter your Google Ads Client ID. This is the id of the account where the conversion is going to be inserted. You can find this id in the top right corner of Google Ads. Enter the id without the hyphens.
- Enter your Google Ads Manager Id. If your google ads account is being managed via a manager account. If there is no manager account, enter the client id again in this space.
- Press Authorize. Log in using a Google Account that has access to the client account.
- Enter the Conversion Action Name.* (A default value is provided and does not need to be updated, this will be the name of the conversion for calls in Google Ads)
- Press Verify. The account will be checked to see if a Conversion Goal already exists with the name.
- If it already exists the integration can be saved
- If it doesn’t exist you will be prompted with the option for the goal to be automatically created
- Press save
