How to transfer a call on your Yealink phone

Calls can be transferred either by warm transfer or attended transfer. In an attended transfer, the first party speaks to the caller before transferring the call. 

You can make a transfer from the Phone dial pad, from Contacts, or from History. Using the dial pad If you know the number, you can use the dial pad to make an attended transfer. 

 

Blind transfer

This is a transfer where you send the call to another person without announcing the call first.

  1. Press the  button or the Tran soft key during a call
  2. Enter the number you want to transfer the call to
  3. Press the  button or the Tran soft key to complete call transfer. The call will be connected to the number to which you are transferring

Attended transfer

This is a transfer where you talk to the person that you wish to send the call to first (sometimes referred to as an announced transfer).

  1. Press the  button or the Tran soft key during a call
  2. Enter the number you want to transfer the call to
  3. Press the tick  button to dial out
  4. After the party answers the call, press or the Tran soft key to complete call transfer. If you are using a handset, the call transfer can also be completed by hanging up the handset. You can cancel the call transfer before the call is connected by pressing the Cancel soft key
